About ME
Chelsea Schneider’s diverse career path has included an array of unconventional accomplishments including (in this order): developing an educational program that was integrated into the production of a feature-length film, producing a documentary with a local news anchor about revenge porn, hearing Seth Rogen’s infamous laughter in person, assisting a hot-headed reality star by delivering a constant supply of nut roll to her green room, and digitally recreating a political debate over Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Her tenacious attitude has helped her develop a well-rounded foundation, but her real passion lies in editing and content creation. To date, Chelsea’s work has received over 725,000 views and 32,000 likes.
In 2013, she graduated from Point Park University with a degree in Cinema Production. She spent the next 5 years at the film nonprofit Steeltown Entertainment Project before leaving it in 2018 to freelance. Since then, she has worked as a Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, and Editor on nearly 70 productions including commercials for IBM, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Uber, as well as shows and movies for HGTV, Netflix, PBS, Sony Pictures, and Showtime.
Currently, Chelsea is working exclusively in post-production. She has edited over 50 gameplay highlights, designed almost 500 thumbnails, and manages the YouTube channels of some of her favorite content creators. In addition to video editing and design, her technical skills include motion graphics, visual effects, color grading, and sound design.
Her goal is to continue to grow her portfolio and expand her technical skill set. Ultimately, she’d like to have a salaried position with a web-based gaming, comedy, or lifestyle brand. Until then, she enjoys playing video games with her friends, amateur improv comedy, and serenading her two cats.
